I've been interested in mystical matters from a very young age. An undercurrent of spirituality has always been part of my life, to differing degrees at various times. Over the years, an attraction to Eastern religions has led me to incorporate some of the teachings of Hinduism, Buddhism and Kriya Yoga into my worldview.
A great deal of my life has included nurturing others in some way. I trained to be a Registered Nurse and later on I studied Sociology and Social Work. For many years I worked in the mainstream medical system and saw both the strengths and weaknesses of what it had to offer. Personally I often used various vibrational healing methods for myself, my family and our animals; this included homeopathy, Bach flower remedies, acupuncture and Reconnective Healing. More currently I have become interested in sound healing; in particular the Biofield Tuning of Eileen McKusick; and the audio sound patterns of Hemi-Sync that can have an effect on our states of consciousness.
In 2008 I was led to understand the healing potential of Astrology and from that time onward I have embarked on studying and immersing myself in this ancient mystical science. Astrology has been so helpful to me in my own life journey. I cannot imagine my life without this connection to the cosmos.
What I can offer
Combining my life experience and my education in Astrology, my wish is to give you a view of your life that can be as helpful as possible as you navigate your current circumstances. Whether you are completely new to Astrology or you've had readings before, my intention is to meet you wherever you find yourself currently in your life. Every person is doing their very best as we all move through our various challenges. Astrology can shine an interesting light on things for you. A different perspective. Perhaps an understanding of your own true light.
Qualifications
2008 to 2011: I began my Astrology studies with a self directed course from Sri Goswami Kriyananda of The Temple of Kriya Yoga. I was attracted to having a teacher with mystical leanings and Goswami Kriyananda was from the lineage of Paramahansa Yogananda who wrote the Autobiography of a Yogi - a book with which I already was acquainted.

2012 to 2014: I studied Traditional/Classical Astrology with Kevin Burk who trained with Lee Lehman who in turn had trained with Olivia Barkley - Olivia Barkley played an important role in the revival of traditional astrology in the 1980s.

2014: Astro Logos School, England: I completed a course called Firdaria, Triplicities and Profections. This furthered my education in Traditional/Classical Astrology by looking at certain techniques used by Medieval Astrologers.

2015 to 2018: I studied with the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London, England. They have a rigorous training program which emphasizes Psychological Astrology. I gained their Certificate in 2017 and continued to study forecasting techniques with them until the end of 2018.

Summer 2020: Astro Logos School, England; Bernadette Brady's Time Maps online course. This furthered my education in predictive astrology.

November 2020: Astro Logos School, England: an online course on Grand Aspect Patterns which produce compelling patterns that can dominate a life. This course looked at the Grand Cross, the Mystic Rectangle, the Grand Trine and its additions of the Kite and Star of David, and finally, the Yod and focused Yod.

December 2020: Astro Logos School, England: an online Masterclass called The Lot of Spirit, Soul, God and Your Spiritual Purpose. This taught an astrological approach to spiritual purpose.

January 2021: Astro Logos School, England: 6 week online Star School with lectures by Bernadette Brady. The aim of this six week Star School was to engage the student with the role of Fixed Stars in today’s astrology.
The stars add a deeper level to the natal chart as they speak of the idea of spirit before it encounters and blends with an individual's natal planets.

2023: Astrology Hub course with Rick Levine on Harmonic Aspects. A course to examine some of the more subtle relationships between planets in a person's chart which are often not examined in astrology.

2024: I continue my studies with in depth analysis of Eclipses; a course in Astrocartography and courses in Psychosynthesis related to Astrology (Astrosynthesis).
